A few years ago I got a cute little shirt for Olivia with an owl on the front. Owls have popped up since then in one way or another. Each year we stumble across another owl shirt at Target or Old Navy. Now last year I got a cute little bag and some magnets with owls on them.Thursday a group of our friends were all headed to an owl show at the library so we jumped in.
After seeing them in real life I am now a full blown Owl Lover. They are beautiful and much smaller than I expected. Ava just wanted to pet them as were walked up and down the aisle.
I have officially gone from a Tootsie pop owl to a real owl lover.

I just saw a picture of an owl in someone's back yard in Falmouth and I was thinking how we could lure one here but then I realized they have probably been here and could see how AVA was treating fat cat and they flew as fast as they could away from our neighborhood- as would fat cat if he could fly. Now I realize why the house is always locked- it's to keep fat cat here. Love, MOM PS- please don't give Ava anything else to think about. You mentioned a trip next year with just the husband and last night she wanted to make sure Earl was still here and hadn't left her behind for vacationland so she got up 5 times to check his location. No concept of next year!!!!! If you go, maybe we (Ava, Olivia and Nana) need to leave for our own vacation before you and hubby leave so she thinks we're leaving you :)
