I had two of the best dudes in my kids room today. Wait, Let me explain.We need to replace every window in our house. We have only been able to get a few done. After we bought our house the economy plunged, Mr.Fooseberry's job tanked and our bank account got anorexic. So things around here have gone a bit stagnant when it comes to upgrading anything.
This window has looked like this ^ with the drywall just hanging out for years. Time flies when you have a life I guess.
So the good news is Matt and Mike came to our rescue today and in no time had it mudded and framed. Matt will be back in the morning to finish up the mud and we can paint it. The rest of the walls are a periwinkle blue and just because we think it is cool the girls and I had planned on painting this 1 triangle wall bubble gum pink. This never got done because the window just never got finished. I am too excited to have this small thing done. It gives me have hope in our home again. I am thinking about a way to take baby steps to get things done we have been dreaming of. Maybe 1 window at a time is our speed.
