Rainy Day Fun

Today we had a wet and busy day. Olivia had dance class and Ava had a play date with her friend Carlie. It still baffles me that she has friends at her age. I packed her up and dropped her off with Bonnie and Carlie then Olivia and I headed to dance class.
From these pictures Bonnie sent me it looks like they had a terrific time and will be doing it again.
While Ava was busy Olivia and I tackled the Strawberry Shortcake Cake from Pioneer Woman. I haven't eaten any but we tested enough frosting that I think it is perfect.
Apparently it is a hit:Update: We ate it and it is damn good. Go straight to your kitchen and make this!!!NOW!
