As I have said before someone upstairs must be as sarcastic as I am. Just when we have budgeted down to the roll of quarters I have tucked away from the Yard Sale, I notice Fatcat acting peculiar.He is meowing and following me around at midnight when I get home.
My answer is Go away fat boy-That's all the food you are getting. See he was a hefty 18 lb boy and the Doctor told us to start cutting him down to 2 feedings a day. No more trough of cat food. This means when I get home at night he is ready to eat and if I don't feed him he knocks over the Tupperware container and scratches the crap out of it to open it. He is like his Mother with a cake.
In the morning the same thing so I provide clean food bowls with fresh food and water. I clean the litter box and he seems to be in and out so I figure it must be dirty. As soon as I start closely watching him I see that he is using the box multiple times and peeing a drip.

Most woman know what this means in a second-Priority 1 UTI!
So I call the Vet and they say get him in right away. I guess his bladder could pop if he has a stone. Of course it could this week when I have not budgeted a trip to the Vet.
In any case he gets an IV, a shot, and a prescription and I get to leave $176 with them.
I know what some of you are thinking but he has been my man since well before Mr. FB and he puts up with my crap better than any other man I know so he gets whatever he needs.
Poor Guy even Ava loves him to DEATH!
