I will start by saying if you are within a "gas tank" distance of this place-GO THERE! It is well worth it and a great time for both kids and adults. I tried to pick a few cute photos but I will post a link because there are many more. There were animals to be pet and fed. There was a great Imagination area with a play store and house, camping area, tractors to ride and even a smaller version of a maze for little ones.
This was the first pony/donkey ride for Ava and Carlie and both rode like professionals. After lunch and painting their own faces and more animals licking them than I can count we headed to the Sprinkler park just as the sky was turning dark and the wind was picking up. This is exactly what happened last time-Maybe the powers that be know when parents are getting hungry and tired and they bring on the rain so we could drag the kids out. They would have slept in a barn if we had let them. We stumbled upon another play area behind the sprinkler park and they rode a few more slides before we finally promised ice cream if they left!!
It was a 2 hr ride from where we are but they did good without much fighting. Ava was Ava and keep me running. We stopped for dinner and 2 out of 3 were asleep as we came back over the bridge in the dark. Not a bad result for a car that was on the road for almost 10 hrs. Click here and you can see more photos of our day.
