Olivia's 6th Birthday

Mega 25lb SpongeBob cake!! Twinkies for arms and legs. Thanks Barry for the idea. The feet are twinkies dipped in melted chocolate.

It started out as a cloudy/crappy day that was supposed to clear up but didn't really until we were wrapping up. It didn't seem to damped our party time. We had 2 races-1 where you had to walk like a crab and a race where you had to hold a crabby patty on your spatula. FUNNY! Ava dropped her patty at the start line-Oh well.Pinatas are always a big hit at parties and I am not sure what they like better the anticipation of the toys and candy or the permission to beat the crap out of something with a stick. We had some heavy hitters with some serious pent up energy that helped wipe out SpongeBob. I ended him with 1 good hit or 2 myself and it did feel good.As the day cleared up and the party started to wind down it was a perfect time for some hula hooping. All the kids were fast asleep in minutes at bed time.

What a lovely 6th for such a cutie. Well done on the cake.
Have to agree on the zeal with the Pinatas. I am just sorry I am too old to swing at one.
