This was me today after I dragged my sorry ass off the couch. I know I am always blabbing away about the couch to 5K program but today I just wanted to move and not look at my watch every 90 seconds. I did the 1st 90 second jog and then a 90 second walk. Next should have been a 3 minute jog and then a 3 minute jog. It ended up being a 21 minute jog. I decided I was sick of looking at the damn watch I just was going to run as far as I could so I noted the time and started off. I am not looking for a speed record, I never have, I am just looking to survive. I ended up doing 1.96 miles in a total of 24 minutes. I use the same route when I started out running last year as it is flat and not a lot of traffic and it is a 5-6 minute walk from my house. This allows for the perfect warm up time. The road is a dead end 1.96 miles, the down side is that it is a freaking wind tunnel on the way back, built in resistance training I guess.

When we got home I must have been full of piss and vinegar because I decided to try out my new toy. I am a tractor trailer driver now. I filled the tire with some air and I thought I would just take a quick ride down the road to see how it goes. It was surprisingly smooth so we kept right on going over to Brick Kiln Rd. Once we rode there I remembered my friend is away on vacation-Oh well. So we added a little cross training in. We will definitely be out again I just need to get some miles planned. I hear the new bike path in West and North Falmouth is beautiful.
Ava seemed to like it she just was very unhappy to have her picture taken as you can see from her face above.
On a side note I would just like to give another HUGE Thank You to my friend that gave us these bikes. I plan on putting a ton of miles on it. Let me know when I can bring you another cake.

Can't wait to see you stylin' on the new bike path!
Great run! And I like the kid tow for the bike. I have thought about getting one of those.
