We had an awesome day today. I actually got to sleep until about 8am and that is a gift from Heaven around here. Well I was up a few times starting at 4:30 when Ava decided it was morning but at least she went back to sleep after a while.
I got in my run with Chelsea and didn't die.
5min run
90 sec walk
3min run
2 1/2 min walk
3min run
90 sec walk
5 mi run
All total I am running a 13.3 min mile. Not great but I can run the 3 minutes without too much struggling. My next big thing to tackle is stretching. I am not doing it and I will hurt myself.
Next we loaded up for the beach. We hit a quick Letterbox on the way and got a handmade stamp of Falmouth. We were going to do more but the beach was calling.
We headed to Woodneck as it is our favorite beach- My Nana took me and my mom there when we were both kids. It has a great little river area that is shallow for the kids and usually you can see some crabs.
Something I have never seen outside the Woods Hole aquarium- Horseshoe crabs. There were about 1/2 a dozen making their way around. Funny thing is... It is mating season so all the Mom's and Dad's are trying to explain why all the crabs are riding piggyback-LOL!! Gotta Love Nature!
Tonight I am headed to the movies with my friend which is sure to be a great time.

What a fabulous day for you. You deserve it especially after all the long shifts!
I'm glad to hear the horseshoe crabs are getting it on. Many a migratory shorebird relies on their eggs as a food source and the decline in some shorebird populations is directly related to the decline in horseshoe crabs.
Way to run, woman. I didn't. We walked the waterfront - see the http://flickr.com/meltingmama photoz.
Way to go Jenn! Your garden will bloom before you know it!!
Awesome picture! That will be good for them to have when they grow up.
