Last year I started the Couch to 5K program to try to run a 5K in 8 weeks.

I was doing pretty good I think. I could out run Chelsea a little ;-)
Then the cold and cobwebs set in. Now my butt is flat and I have the TV remote in my hand. So I came upon a 5k walk/run in Yarmouth in 2 weeks. This seems to have put a little fire under my butt.
I am thinking about it. It says you can walk it and I know I can walk to Dunkin Donuts (2.6mi) and back. So this may be the first documented run this year.
So the caffeine and craziness is flowing heavily here at 11pm so I also have printed my package to run in the Falmouth Road Race. That is huge. It is 7 miles. I jumped into it a little but the deadline is May 15th. They hold a certain amount of numbers for town residents and the rest of the world is in the lottery for a number.
When I was all drugged up after weight loss surgery I told the nurse walking me around that someday I was going to run the Road Race. I also posted it as a post surgery goal on my OH profile. Well the time has come I guess.
I want for some strange reason to be a runner. I want to do it without feeling like I am close to death also. I guess I have 2 goals- run and not die.
Do you want to run??

Good for you! Sounds great!
I wish I had goals that I could actually accomplish.
Let me know how it turns out....
Sadly, I will be at the beach in Florida for the first one. And stop telling people you used to be able to outrun me. I was "skinnyfat" then.
I'll be there to throw water on you at Falmouth harbor stretch.
Now that's a friend.
I'll be with Bonnie and that's reality!!!! Love, Mom
I'll do it. But, my ass has to walk.
If you see me running, that means the laxative is working....
