I want so much from my yard this year and we will see how many of those things get crossed off the list. I need a green lawn is that so much to ask??
I might even plant a seed or 2. I usually like to buy plants as they are instantly gradifying but also expensive. Also on my list is some of Uncle D's giant pumpkins. Nothing would be better than carving our own lopsided pumpkins that we grew ourselves. But enough about the cold Fall lets get back to Spring.
I usually have no patients this time of year- I want to get stuff in the ground and growing and I am reminded it will die if planted now so on I go to dreaming about my garden.
I hope to get some birds in my yard and as long as that damn wood pecker stays off the house we will all be happy!!

It's time to plant peas here on Cape Cod, so get to it! Of course mine are not in yet, but they will be tomorrow morning. Pansies and violas can also go in. So, for some quick color, get to the garden center NOW! I took the day off from work yesterday to work in the yard.
Tonight's plan: Build two more raised bed vegetable gardens and fill with compost.

Instead of blogging help me work in the garden-Barry said so.

Wanna help make the Turkey pinata this weekend?
call the wahhmbulance. i'm going away for the weekend..otherwise I would love to be elbow deep in glue and construction paper
So I just ordered 3 blueberry bushes, 6 blackberry plants, 25 asparagus roots and 3 rhubarb. I guess I better get my $#!* together and prepare for that. I don't even like rhubarb but it's a nice plant.
It makes a good Pie!!!
strawberry rhubarb pie is delish
Well, my peas are not ready to go in. I sort of got distracted by another project related to my post about ordering the plants. I came home from work and dug up five 5-6 foot arborvitae trees and transplanted them to the other side of the yard to make room for the blueberries and blackberries. Gawd! I just finished up after dark, around 8:20. This is all your fault for being inspirational! ;)
I'm glad you enjoyed the photo! I had fun trying to get close to him to get that shot! Mrs G
