Today is the deadline that we were supposed to be out.
Guess What? Ain't gonna happen.
While at Olivia's birthday party I got the call from the real estate agent. She is like we have a check for you from the bank all we need to do is inspect the house. I explain that we will not be leaving the house and I know that they will proceed as the need to legally. I just have no place to go. No one will rent to me and every house I apply for I am one of 40 applicants. She mentions the check like 2 more times.
No amount of money is going to find me a place and move me out in 2 days. Well maybe a million dollars but this check is far from that so do what you have to do lady.
How do I feel?

I am dying to get out as the house is sort of going to the shit. The garden out front does not look like this picture. I have not weeded this year. My weed whacker is dead so we mow and leave the edges scraggly. The pool, swing set and wood pile are gone so the yard has bare no grass patches which are not cute.
This I find pretty draining. I do not like to be ashamed of my home. I will not be inviting guests over for Summer BBQ's or Tupperware/cocktail parties.
The house is not as clean or decorated as I would like so these things are a little......sucky. I have always struggled with letting things go. I will spend hours of free time cleaning my house and being embarrassed to have people over if I can't get it super clean before people come over. Lot of time with the girls is lost because of this. Time to rethink that way of thinking. We usually do this when the Summer comes. House and car full of sand, dinner on paper plates and bathing suits are your clothes. :) Can't wait.
Otherwise we are doing good. I am floating as I should be and I am gearing up for my Summer of reconnecting with my girls. We are done with the hustle and bustle of school for now.
