Picnic dinner at Woodneck beach

After looking at the beautiful weather all day thru a camera that does it no justice I decided to blow off all our responsibilities.
Damn it felt good.
We ran into D'Angelo's and grabbed some sandwiches and headed to the beach. Olivia had a million questions about not having her bathing suit and towel and what was she going to do? Silly me, I assure her that we aren't going to get THAT wet as the air is warm but the water is not.
As you can see below one child stripped off her tutu to her t-shirt and undies and the other just took off in her clothes. I rolled up my pants but crossing the river took me just above my knees so I got wet as well.
We collected some great treasures before the Summer masses combed the beaches bare.



I think I have the Summer itch well before the girls do. I can't wait for no school, no dance and some beach days with a cooler and our sand buckets.
Come on June 21st!!!
