I came home from work to find my bed full of kids. I haven't seen them since Monday morning so I welcomed 2 sweaty bodies sleeping sideways and not sharing any blankets with me.
This morning I was having a slow start and definitely adjusting to the huge drop in humidity-I have to admit...I was cold. So the beach didn't seem like a good idea but the sun was shining and I wanted to have some fun with the girls.
As usual I started the computer and checked my emails.
Coonamessett farm had sent their regular farm newsletter updating members on what was ready to pick, when the next Jamaican Buffet was and the news about their newest baby goat. What a great idea! After some quick eggs we were on the way to the farm. One of the highlights for us was raspberries were open and what great fun it was to fill 2 cartons. There were only a couple of other crops open that I would eat and the girls eat really no veggies so off to the play area we went. While they played I found the carrots and Ava and I grabbed a few. The day was perfect and we were getting hungry for some lunch.

The view from the carrots.

Picking raspberries.

Mom, see the baby carrot?

Now why would we waste the rest of the day with a peanut butter and jelly when we can ride the trolley like tourists? After picking up some sandwiches we did just that. The trolley to these girls is like riding the Superman roller coaster. They were hysterical!!

After a picnic on the lawn across from Pie in the Sky we hoofed it down to the aquarium. Perfect timing that we even got to see the draw bridge go up. At the aquarium the seals were swimming at a fevers pace and the girls were trying to talk to them in their native language. Soon I had to cut them short to make sure we had enough time to backtrack to our car from Woods Hole.

They giggled all the way back to town and to Gramma's house. When I left them they were swimming like seals in Gramma's pool.
I would say it was a good catching up day for the Berry girls.
