We are trying to make a pool party happen. This means I am looking for ideas for a pool cake. Let me ask one question-why do most of the cakes have fish or sand in/on them ?? Aren't you always trying to kill the algae and vacuum the sand out of a pool yet every photo has gummy fish stuck all over the pool or sand on the deck. HELLO-I am thinking Polly pockets and a licorice ladder.I also need a pinata. Well I don't but every kid seems to NEED a pinata. I see a paper sack with $100 worth of crap in it. Also why can't the parents hit it? We are the ones all stressed out by the time the party comes around anyway. And couldn't it be filled with nips or jello shots? Wait just one minute I think I need 2 pinatas one with jelly candy and 1 with jello shots-Perfect!
Actually I am really excited. We haven't been able to have a good backyard BBQ party in a couple years for various reasons which I think always resolves around my lawn. I have my fingers, toes and ear lobes crossed that it doesn't rain as I have invited about 55 people and have room for maybe 10 in my house! I was also thinking about some old fashion games but am also open to the fact that they just play and I relax and enjoy the company.
