Tumbleweeds

Are wondering where I have been and why there are tumbleweeds on the blog now ???

No ... Oh forget it then.

Anyway I have been no where. I think you deserve an update but these are the things going on.

1. Wake up

2. Do the school thing-make breakfast, make lunch, run to the bus stop or drive if we over sleep which is frequently.

3. Clean house, do laundry and try to survive until nap time for the beast.

4. While she growls in her sleep I do yet more laundry, house cleaning and maybe read the paper and watch some soaps (yes I know but sleezy TV is the exact opposite to Curious George and SpongeBob Squarepants)

5. She gets up and we prepare lunch and get ready to go to Gramma's (she is the afternoon babysitter between Mom leaving and Dad coming home)

6. Make dinner and get myself dressed for work.

7. Work is my break- Believe that!!

8. 1am Bed and then.......

We are back to #1

Exciting isn't it?? This weather sucks and I don't want to do anything outside. I want to load the wood stove to the hilt and bake in my 80 degree house. I need the Bahamas in my life.

My Little Daisy

She had her first ceremony last night and it was so cute. She said the pledge of allegiance and the Girl Scout pledge. They all looked so tiny. She got her first patches and a certificate. It is hard to see her grown up. I still choke up when she gets on the bus all by herself. Bye Mom and a kiss and she is gone. She seems way too small to be out in the world without me.

I take pictures of every event now like it is the Prom. I am sure she thinks I am nuts but I just want to remember these things and I don't write anything in baby books and I have no memory.
When she gets old and wants to share with her kids I will have to give her the password to my Photobucket account.

On a more important note-
It is Girl Scout Cookie time and she will picking them up on February 7th so if anyone is interested let us know.
No order taking...We will have them in our hot little hands for sale.

If they sell enough boxes they are going to the indoor water park on a trip. Their goal is 1000 boxes. A huge goal for 5 little girls but I understand that last year the troop sold just under 700 boxes. So get out your cash and your glucose meters folks!!!

Foxwoods

What happens when I tuck the kids in with Gramma and trot off to Foxwoods with the boys??

NOTHING GOOD!!!

The boys go right to the buffet when we get there and I am not a buffet kind of girl anymore, besides I ate before we left to avoid any crashes ruining my fun. While they ate I walked the 4,818 miles (or so it seemed) from where we entered to the new MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. It was basically another arm of Foxwoods but it was beautiful.

This was the lobby

The way my mind works and in these times the grandiosity was awesome but they could have added like 40 more rooms just in the space used for this lobby.

I was quickly down about $70 so I decided to take a break. I walked into California Pizza with a newspaper and had Crab Cakes on my mind.

I also got into a minor collision with too many of these...

This my friends was a Margar-tini and we enjoyed the night too much. I didn't get home until 3 am. My phone went dead but one of my last texts to my husband at least said if you are looking for me -look towards California Pizza. After a half dozen unanswered texts they came looking and what they found I guess was not good.

For evidence and blackmailing purposes my husband recorded my hysterical giggling fit when we got home and he randomly plays it for people to publicly humiliate me. What Love?!?!

I am recovering nicely and am swearing off alcohol at least until this memory fades a bit.

Get off my Ass

After my previous bitch, moan, whine segment I went downstairs and decided to try my bootleg copy of this DVD.
I am NOT coordinated and hate aerobics and feel like an idiot doing this crap in my living room but as I walked along I was looking out the window and I know I won't be out there for months so SUCK IT UP!
Anyway it was pretty good. It went from walking segments to band work. My arms are actually tired. I bought a kit from her a while ago but it is VCR and I don't own one anymore. It might be worth my while to get one on freecycle or something because that would let me vary it up.
In the end she also explained that we had just walked 2 miles. Not Bad for a blogging couch potato.

Facebook Status: Bitchy

Beating a dead horse again but it is my Blog Damn it!!

I am miserable. As everyone knows weight loss surgery 2 years ago-lost 125 lbs but now I can't seem to lose freaking 15 lbs. I sound like a whiner I know. When I was heavy in the back of my mind I would be hoping a person like me would get run over my a truck- 15 lbs - yeah thanks.

It is amazing to me that 15 lbs can ruin my day, week, month so incredibly fast. I ripped half my closet out yesterday and threw it in the basement as I can only fit in a few pairs of pants. No one even noticed I was losing weight after surgery until I had lost about 70 lbs-No lie. Now I feel like 15 lbs is killing me. How quickly the negative words come back to my head and all I see is Fat Albert belly.

I know I will receive posts from certain people and I already say Thanks. I just needed a little bitch session to get it out I guess. Headed downstairs to do a Hannah Montana dance DVD...Every little bit helps-LOL!

Monster Trucks and a Job Update

I think it is confirmed that redneck runs in your genes or something. I am working the holiday Monday ( well it is a holiday in Massachusetts) so I say to my girls " Mom is making a few extra bucks- What do you want to do??"
MONSTER TRUCKS!!!
Umm...Okay.
So I am planning a rocking trip to the Monster Trucks in Worcester. Wait the best part.... on Valentine's Day. They watch them on TV with Dad and they are so cool says the 5 year old. We even found a Scooby Doo monster truck on You tube that played who let the dogs out and the 2 of them danced like fools while watching it.

On the other truck front - Mr Fooseberry has got a new job, much better we hope. He is no longer driving 45 minutes to work and back to big equipment which is more his style. The last job was good and the family who owned the business were very nice to him but you can't beat a job 5 minutes from home with weekends off. Gas is not an option at the moment but time can't be bought. I can't imagine how the ride would have been in the Summer-UGH!

So Big trucks is the theme this week. Wanna go??

Snow Again

I keep showing the jungle gym but there is really nothing else in the yard so it would all just look white, except for the giant wood pile that is dwindling fast. I can't seem to be warm enough this winter.

On a good note it is light and fluffy so I was able to just push it out of the driveway but on the bad side under it is sheer ice. It rained the other day and I thought Good. No not good- it froze that night and it is thick. We will be stuck with this crap for a while.

Remember to have 911 on speed dial as I see a broken bone coming up real soon. I wiped out in my back yard today and will be rubbing my butt for days and not for a good reason.

The weather shows some kind of snow from 20-100% for the next few days so we will be building our Webkinz empire and drinking hot chocolate. Did I mention no school for 4 days??

Oh yes another vacation for school but what to do with the kiddies?

I went to the book store in town to find the Sugar Addiction books I need ( I will blog about that later) and could not leave without this baby. I will be adopting her thru Webkinz world today but am looking for a name. Something old and beautiful - Heloise the Hippo?? What do you think?

I know, I know ....36 is only my chronological age.

Out of the mouthes of babes

I come downstairs the other day and look at my 5 year old daughter playing and she mouths something without saying it aloud. I think that didn't look right and she says Mom did you hear what I said. I said F$%^-ing Heck!
I am a bit stunned and think well she did say Heck instead of.....Wait F$%^&*????
I calmly explain-YOU ARE NEVER TO SAY THAT WORD AGAIN IN YOUR LIFE.
Many people have asked me if I smacked her butt, soaped or peppered her mouth or what?
Actually I explained that she probably heard that from Mom or Dad but we should not being saying that word either so she is NEVER to say it and if she hears us say it she is to remind us that we can not say that word either.
Oh, I am a grown up now aren't I??
On the other hand - I find it hysterical and use if frequently at work when they are safely at home. I do have a sick sense of humor and the mix of those too words just makes me giggle.
So the next time someone cuts you off in traffic just yell-F'ing Heck!!

Webkinz

We have ventured into the world of Webkinz today. Olivia has been saving her money and today she adopted Ariel. She is having more fun making a bed and shower out of blankets than she did on the computer because she has ZERO patience. Hmmm... Sounds like it may be in her genes.
Soon I will have to share the computer with her as she needs more computer time. Let me remind you she is 5!!!

Shhhhh... Do you hear that???

That is the sound of my kids on a bowling trip with Nana and Auntie. Dad is currently snoring away as he was out plowing until the wee hours this morning.
I can't remember the last time I was basically alone. I am watching my own TV-Not Sponge Bob- folding laundry and making a Pot roast. Doesn't sound like much but it works for me-Oh and I am still in my cupcake pajamas-did I mention it is 1pm. Heaven!!

SURPRISE!!

I never expected after 3 tries to get a surprise birthday party to work for this person and I still am not sure she didn't know. She is all knowing because there isn't much that gets by a chick trapped in her house like a fish in an aquarium.

We traveled over the bridge and hung out with basically a bunch of strangers but they always are very friendly to me-the internet stalker friend. The first time it was kind of-"How did you meet Beth?" Ummmm.... On the internet. Strange but for some reason it works and we have fun.

The Mr. planned the food and did a fabulous job of hiring Moe's out of Plymouth. If you are out shopping try this place because the food was good.

So much fun was had by our family and the kids left exhausted. There were definately enough of them running around so no one was bored.
Happy Belated Birthday MM!

Torture or Heaven

My sister was kind enough to point this out in a magazine.
Can I picture myself rolling in the scent of Tootsie Rolls or Hershey's Special Dark?? Maybe.
I once saw perfume that smelled like Play doh and that may be safer. I think some days after a long day with 3-4 kids I may smell like play doh and Kraft Macaroni and cheese and not even realize it.

Off to dance class with the future Britney Spears-She is currently dancing on my bed and singing at the top of her lungs.

I am slowly coming back from the dead. That is a long walk when you are basically a self taught, 2 finger typer trying to be all Joe Cool with a blog.
I am obviously attached to my cupcakes but now that I finally got my 3 columns back I hate the cupcake background. It is just too busy and not wide enough.
Again be prepared for some changes around here.
Also if you are a Blogger I found this site to help us stumble thru making a 3 column out of a 2 column template.
Good Luck-http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2007/07/create-three-column-blogger-template.html

Bear with me folks - this blog is all messed up!!
I think we are going to put some dynamite under it and start fresh.
Look out for falling debris!

Where's George?

I am a Geek and this will certainly cement it for you if you didn't think so.
A few years ago I came across a dollar bill with a stamp saying-
Track this Bill
When I went to the site I found out it is basically a bill tracking site. You enter the bills serial number and if it is already stamped that usually means it was already entered by someone else. You will first log it's current location by zip code and second be able to see where it came from. This interests me in some weird way. I wish more people logged as I have a few bills that have traveled for over a year and ended up only a few 100 miles away. True George people keep track of how many states they have a hit from or if they have a hit from each federal reserve. I am not that in depth I just think it is neat.
Some of my Geo caching friends may find this cool and the rest of you are just going to be left shaking your head.

Camping in 2009

I know, I know it is still winter but we have started itching for some camping. Yes I am a camper.
I have to start stockpiling my vacation time now because we are off to Point Sebago for a week on July 4th. I have gushed about this place before but my family has been going here for YEARS - I think about 20 - and we love it. I used to go as a teenager but now I take my kids. There is so much to do or do nothing at all. This is the big trip for us but we want to get in some weekends at other local places too.

This is one place I definitely want to get on my calender. Last year we went for Father's day which I thought would be a cool weekend and we spent it in the pool. I will be checking the availability when I am done blogging.

Last Summer we also did a weekend with some friends and had a Blast but will NOT be returning to that awful dirt bowl again. We had our fill of Hairball the Security guy, too. They suggest Bayview camp ground in Bourne. Right in our neck of the woods so we will be tourists in our own backyard.

My Newest Obsession

This is my new lover.
As many of you know I am not a coffee drinker but I am a chocolate lover and this is a mix of both. It is espresso and chocolate and protein all in one. I am now drinking one shake a day with an additional scoop of chocolate protein powder. I make mine with either 1% or soy milk and I love it.
I am not usually a product endorser but I just thought I would share with the people that start their day with only coffee. This is like coffee and a protein drink in one.
It can be made both hot or cold but I just put mine in the shaker cup for a minute and go.

Here are some stats on it-

Double Shot Espresso Coffee
15 Grams of Lasting Protein
23 Vitamins and Minerals
Low in Sugar & Calories
16 oz container. 14 Servings

Enjoy Cold:-Pour 12-14 oz of water into shaker.-Add one serving (2 scoops) of CLICK-Shake for 30-60 seconds-Pour over ice.

Enjoy Hot:-Pour 12-14 oz of water into shaker.-Add one serving (2 scoops) of CLICK-Shake for 30-60 Seconds-Microwave for 60 seconds.-Remove and stir.-Microwave 45 seconds or to desired temperature.

You can get it delivered to you in a short time by going to their website.

Try it - You may get hooked too.

Playing Blog catch-up

It has been a nice school vacation. I never really knew how much I missed Olivia until she was home and giggling her pants off again. She has grown and I have missed it. She is quick witted and learning alot from school.
Today was a bit of a rough day. We are all hanging on the edge of a cold with runny noses and mild coughs. We stayed up WAY to late last night which didn't help. Today I ordered naps all around today.

Last night we got together with a group of friends for dinner. We have been doing this for the last few years instead of exchanging presents. It makes so much more sense. First of all our kids are growing and in different ages and grades so we just don't see each other anymore. Some of us still have kids home like me or some have got jobs during the day now as their kids are finally in all day school.WOOHOO! Anyway do we really need more crap? NO. It was a ton of fun. Lynn's house is big enough that kids enjoyed themselves and we ccould actually carry on a conversation. We did lose our kids a few times and of course my baby Ava was the kid that ended up naked but it is not a party unless someone gets naked right?
